One year down, one to go

Hooray for one year down!  This past year has been a roller coaster from hell, but my optimism is growing stronger.  I'm very excited about my last year in graduate school.  My work is developing in a way that I never could have imagined.  I feel I can hardly keep up with my self as my work has grown LEAPS from where I was at the beginning of graduate school.  That's not really a complaint as it is a challenge, and I have to say that working from the still life really pushed me out of my comfort zone.

These images are in order from the last weeks of my first year to the present.  I should also note that the color paintings as well as the very last image are works in progress.
